Pixie Lott

I’m currently taking a short break from bazaars, so watch out for my next announcement for upcoming bazaars and events :)

Something really worth listening to is Pixie Lott, dint regret buying her album. Give it a spin! It’s really exciting listening and discovering new talent! Awesome Album!

I listen to a lot of mainstream music, but I hardly give recommendations of any artists here, which I think I should do more in future… It really helps boost page views from all over the world!

Beau Spin

Spin me a BEAUtiful song Mr. Bristow!

Introducing BEAU BRISTOW (Beau pronounce ‘Bo’)

I feel so privilege to have to chance the catch him live at my college, Segi Subang. He’s so amazing live! What I like about him is that he’s such a talented singer and song writer. He writes not only about love but about the world and his experiences.

He and his drummer sidekick, David.

Here’s a video I recorded with my handphone:

The music that you are listening to is all done with his guitar. Awesome one man show, assisted by some technology (he uses his leg to step on) that allows him to record his guitar playing in many layers. Even the drum sound and the electric guitar sound alike is all done with his guitar. You got to see him do this live! It’ll blow your mind!

I even got his album, 7 tracks for RM25. It’s good! But still got to catch him live!

And he autographed it for me. It says: Tim! Best Wishes with school! Beau Bristow

Enough said. He deserves this post for his awesome talent.

S T A R F I E L D

Featuring my favourite Christian band > Starfield

Starfield is a Canadian Christian music group from Winnipeg, Manito.

Genre: Christian Rock, Christian Contemporary Music

Members: Tim Neufeld, Jon Neufeld, Gordie Cochran, David Crisp

Albums:

1. Starfield

2. Beauty In The Broken

3. I Will Go

listen to songs from this album here

some info about the band:

For the record, how did you come up with the name Starfield?

TN: We got it from a Bruce Cockburn song. Bruce, for those who don't know, is an old school Canadian folk star. He's been around since the late 70's. At the time he was kind of flirting with Christianity he wrote the song, "Lord of the Starfields" from which we take our name It was just a cool name for a band and it had some spiritual application as well - the "Starfield" the vast expanse of God's creation.

Interesting Hapenings:

On April 25, 2008, Starfield was performing a concert at the Central Heights Church in Abbotsford, British Columbia, when a lighting scaffold fell over and a portion of the floor collapsed under fans dancing in front of the stage. A number of concertgoers, mostly youth, fell through the floor into the basement. More than 40 people were injured, several seriously, but there were no fatalities. As a result, a concert scheduled April 26 in Burnaby, British Columbia was postponed and a concert scheduled April 28 in Red Deer, Alberta was cancelled. During the event, singer Tim Neufeld asked the crowd to cease dancing. When the floor collapsed, Neufeld threw his microphone aside and jumped down about 10 feet (3.0 m) to help the victims below.

So why I love Starfield?

1. Lead singer voice is just amazingly good, addictive!
2. Great contemporary tunes, not really too edgy rockish kind.
3. Albums are just listenable (which means all songs have tunes to it)
4. Hardly get bored even after much replays
