Industrial Design

Whenever I tell people I’m doing Industrial Design, here are some of the reactions:

“huh?! Oh! It’s something like graphic design isit…..”

Or

“Industrial? Means? Factory ah?”

Ahyoyo, Nvm… Then I’ll tell them, it’s Product Design, so here we go again:

“Oh, (Blur) > _<”

Or

“(Not so blur) -_- What kind of products?”

Industrial Design? As some of you may ask. If you haven’t already known, Industrial Design is also known as Product Design. Basically we design 3D items such as furniture and many kinds of products such as electrical appliances, house whole items and many more….

Career Options includes Product Design Consultant, Industrial Designer, Industrial Design Consultant, Transportation Design Consultant, Furniture Designer, Electronic & Electrical Designer, Home Appliances & Houseware Consultant, Prototype Maker, Model Maker, Draughtsman and Mold Designer.

Hope you are now clear of what is Industrial Design all about. It really relates a lot to the consumer needs and is a process where aesthetics should not just be an afterthought but a significant element together with the function.

I’ve completed my Industrial Design 2 Subject recently, so here are 2 of the products that I’ve created.

Face(s)

Hey all! I'll be selling my cute toy, Face(s) at

Bijou Bazaar @ Jeumpa D'ramo 03 Address: 102 - 104 Jalan Maarof, Bangsar
Date: 2 - 3 August 2008 (this weekend)

Operating Hours:
+ Saturday 11 a.m. till late

+ Sunday 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.

My friend, Tati will be putting these face(s) at her stall, so if you are free this weekend, check them out! they'll put a smile to your face!

This is a temporary poster that i made.

Face(s) is a doll/toy which is soft and easily shaped. You can make many funny faces with it. The name Face(s) is given to it because it is a Face that makes Faces. Its an interesting toy for kids, a great stress releaser for adults and definitely a great gift for your friend 's birthday which is just around the corner. Assorted colours will be sold this Sat and Sun but with limited stocks only. So what are you waiting for?!

More pics will be uploaded soon! For those of you who know me, you can get it directly from me if you would like one.

Its only Rm 12 for each! All hand- made by me!

YAY!

Bought Iron Man toy model for at only RM10! Can you imagine that it is so cheap! I couldn't resist!

Anyway, its a pirated version. Yes, toys do have their pirated versions. It looks good though just the painting of it is not done very well in detail. But a worth buy! So what's an artist got to do with it?

Transform it! Beautify it!

I did not buy Mark 3 because it did not look as good as Mark 2. So what i can do is turn mark 2 into mark 3.. haha.. I'll decide on that later..

As for now I've got to work on my own Mark 3 Sculpture! Hope to blow all of you away with it!

Genesis of a Creative Business

Just finished this prototype phone for a friend of mine.

This will be the first of my mini prototype business that I will be launching now, and hopefully to launch my website soon.

Service which I will provide:

1. Custom made art sculptures

2. Prototype and models

What kinds of sculpture?

If you look at the art work I’ve done, you’ll get the idea of the type and style which I will be able to create. However, at the moment I am aiming to create modern looking decorative sculpture which uses recyclable materials.

More news from this business side of me soon.

FGA College Camp 07

I recently attended FGA College Camp on 20/12/07 to 23/12/07. Really had a blast! Enjoyed spending time with my friends and also my cg!

My
games group was the 'Sexy Cobras'. While the rest of the designing team was working on our banner, I saw a bunch of wires that they thought they might need to use it for the banner. So I started fiddling around with the wires and made a cobra.

Then my games group leader thought it would be great to make it into a tiara. So I quickly work on a bigger Cobra. It turned out great!
