GIve me a G...... O...... D......

After some

Discussions….

Disagreements……….

Discoveries…………………………

I have something to share, some of you may already know, but I think that there are many perspectives that we can look at Christianity.

Why do we believe in the existence of a God? How do you know that a God really exist? Why do Christians think their God is the real God?

If you have read my older post about the discussion between Albeit Einstein and his professor, you will understand better why Christians believe in God. Why is it so hard for us to believe that there is a God out there that has created the heavens and the earth, and human beings? Is it because we can’t see, feel or hear God? Is it because science has wonderful theories that can explain how God’s creation is formed such as the evolution of man? Science is not meant to tell us that the existence of God is impossible but to instead explain God’s creations.

We know that wind exist, we also know that we cannot see wind, however we can see the effects of wind. So there is indeed a God, although we may not see God nor hear directly from God, we may see the effects of God in His believers. Christians are set free by the truth that God is our savior and only through Him that we may have eternal life in heaven.

Is Christianity a religion? Are all religions the same? Why is Christianity not a Religion?

If we say Christianity is a religion, it means we’re saying that we have choices to which religion we choose to believe in. Christianity is not a religion because it is not a choice but instead it’s something we do to honour and respect our maker and heavenly father. You see, we are born into this world by our parents and therefore ‘the choice of choosing our parents’ does not exist because even if we want to, there is simply no way that we can choose our parents. This means that we only have a set of biological parents and we are to honour and respect them as PARENTS.

So this illustration shows that God created us and ‘the choice to choose who we want our God to be’ does not exist (because there is only one God), and with no such choices available, then there should be no such word as ‘religion’.
